These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Tambopata Amazon Tours, a specialized ecotourism agency offering guided tours and nature experiences in the Tambopata region. By booking a tour or service with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
1. Reservations & Payments
A booking is confirmed only upon written confirmation from Tambopata Amazon Tours.
You may pay in full or make a 30% deposit to secure your reservation, with the balance due before the tour begins.
All payments are processed securely online via credit or debit card, using a payment link provided by our team.
Payment details and coordination will be handled directly with our reservations agents.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the tour are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity may not be refundable or may incur a cancellation fee, depending on the specific situation.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable transaction fees.
3. Changes by the Client
Requests to modify bookings (dates, group size, itinerary) must be submitted as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Changes by Tambopata Amazon Tours
In rare circumstances, we may modify the itinerary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational issues, or other unforeseen factors. We reserve the right to make such changes in the interest of guest safety and overall experience, and we will offer suitable alternatives of equal value when necessary.
5. Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for assessing their physical condition and ensuring they are fit for outdoor activities, including walks in humid, uneven terrain. We recommend consulting a physician prior to travel for relevant vaccinations or medications (e.g., yellow fever, hepatitis, tetanus). Tambopata Amazon Tours is not liable for accidents or health issues arising from personal medical conditions or non-compliance with safety instructions.
6. Liability Disclaimer
While we take every measure to ensure a safe and enriching experience, we are not responsible for losses, delays, cancellations, or events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, wildlife unpredictability, or transportation issues.
Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, as they depend on natural factors outside our control.
7. Use of Images
Photographs and videos may be taken during your tour. These may be used for promotional purposes unless you specifically request otherwise in writing before or during the tour.
